Welcome to Epiphany
A Fine art Photography Series
Some of you first experienced these works through the 'Take a Guess' section, where you shared your personal impressions, questions, and perspectives with me. Your responses were thoughtful, surprising, and deeply inspiring.
Others may be encountering this series for the very first time.
The conversations and interpretations inspired by these images prompted me to share the complete narrative behind these collection. What follows is the story behind Epiphany—a journey unfolding through these five photos, revealing the symbols, meanings, and ideas that shaped this collection.
Epiphany
consists of five photographs.

On an ordinary day, while preparing lunch in the kitchen, I sliced an onion. Looking at the onion's concentric rings on the cutting board, the fourth image in this series immediately formed in my mind. That moment was a powerful inspiration that launched the "Epiphany Series." The onion was no longer just an everyday object for me; it became a light that called me to an unexpected, deep inner journey. This series is the visual story of the unconscious meeting consciousness. This sequential photographic work is an ontological and visual exploration into the Layers of Being; a trajectory from the material husks to the invisible nucles of pure consciousness. The onion serves as a metaphor for the physical body (Corpus), whose protective layers are peeled away to reveal its true Essence. The camera acts as an instrument of intuition, decoding the onion's layers as the subconscious mind. The narrative begins in the dense darkness of the outer shell, fractured by a Primal Light that infiltrates to open the way to deeper existence. The Eye unveiled from within the dense layers is symbolic of the Pineal Gland ("gateway of the soul"); the critical turning point of inner awakening that shifts the trajectory from the external to the internal. This process charts a Spiritual Anatomy: each receding layer signifies the transcendence of a perceptual stage. The ultimate goal is unity. The concluding image captures the moment of Epiphany and the essence of pureness.
